This instrument is indicative of the Viennese “sound” from the early to mid 19th century. The tone is loud, clean and well balanced with good bases and ample sustain. Although not the “Legnani” model it does have the innovative adjustable neck and “flying” fingerboard. The music of Mario Giuliani comes alive with this instrument.
